It’s no secret that Starbucks is expensive coffee. If you find yourself visiting S’Bucks almost daily you’ll end up spending close to $100 a month (or more) on your caffeine addiction. But if you stop at the right Starbucks location you can definitely save some money. In particular, visit Starbucks Cafés that are located within grocery stores like Safeway, Ralphs, and Target. They all offer coupons and deals that are specific to them which can save you a lot of money over the course of a year. Here is what you need to know…

Buy Coffee from Starbucks Cafés (Inside Grocery Stores) and Save BIG)

Target

Starbucks with Target CartWheel App

If your local Target has a Starbucks located within, make sure you download the free Target App.

The app often has big discounts on coffee drinks and food which are ONLY good at the Starbucks locations within Target.

Keep an eye out for great offers like 25% off Frappuccinos, 25% off heated sandwiches, and even “Buy 1 drink, get 1 FREE”.

Also, make sure you double-dip your savings and pay with the Starbucks app so you get reward points on your purchase as well.

Kroger

Kroger

The next time you’re loading digital coupons onto your Kroger card take a peek for any Starbucks offers.

They often have deals like any Grande Frappuccino for only $3, as well as 25% off any warm sandwich.

Hint: You’ll typically find them in the “Deli” category for some odd reason. You can also simply do a quick search for the word “Starbucks”.

Safeway

Safeway

Earlier this year, Starbucks Café locations within Safeway were giving away ANY Tall beverage of your choice. Pretty awesome deal.

So if you shop regularly at Safeway, make sure you register for their Just For U coupons page and get your free coffee too.

While they might not always give it away for free, they’ll almost always have a coupon good for a discount on a hot or cold drink, food item, and even ground coffee.
